Hello again all!!!
OK… time to discuss the issues… when I am elected Mayor, I promise the following:
1) Sell Long Beach West – with the criteria that (a) the boardwalk will be built within 2 years (or else ownership will revert back to the town… at no cost), (b) Stratford citizens will ALWAYS have the rite to access the land (no matter what animals happen to move in), and (c) all monies from the sale will go immediately to pay down the town’s debt
2) Shakespeare Theatre WILL open… no if’s, and’s or but’s about it
3) The train station will finally get finished
4) Hire more cops/fireman… what’s up with all the OT these guys are working? More people, less OT… end of story.
and
5) The price of a dog license will immediately increase to $5,000 a year
So… what do you think Stratford… I’d love to hear your opinions…

2. Who cares? Not a single tax dollar should be allocated for it.
3. Of course, but what are your plans for parking?
4. I disagree. Staffing levels are currently appropriate. Just require approval for overtime or change the pension formula.
5. This is blatantly discriminatory!
I would like to see all feral cats at the sea wall bagged and thrown as far as possible towards Port Jefferson.

I agree with a few of these. With Shakesphere if it should open I would love to see not only Shakesphere Plays but also Broadway.
I have a couple of cats and they really could use a job at Town Hall. They are females and way under 50 years old. One knows the computer keyboard because sometimes when I type she will jump up here and hit a few keys so she knows a computer.
Now for the dog tax…YIKES…I am going out to purchase fake cat ears for my dog and have him incognito…..

Now as a Proud Irish Person….This is the first year the Irish Flag was not raised at Town Hall, no HS Band playing Irish songs, no Irish Dancer and no speeches and not a designated Irish Family to raise the flag. When you become Mayor where do the Irish in Town stand. This has been done every year for years.

1) I beg your pardon, but I do not eat thatroadkill they call 9 Lives! I prefer the high-end stuff from Petco!
2) being that my mother is half-Irish I see NO problem with celebrating St. Patty’s Day! Heck… I might even propose turning the Housey green for the day like they do in Chi-town!!!

You have my vote now. I will bring my 2 cats and dog (who thinks he is a cat and will put him in cat ears (incognito) to next years flag raising.
Hey when your mayor can you please pass my 2 cats with a high grade on the Police exam and send them to the academy? I have not caught them smoking anything funny so I know they are clear in that department but…. ummmmm ok I have to admit, they are into catnip at times (gulp)
